IPL-13: इस सीजन में लगातार दो बार हारने के बाद चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स (CSK) को जिस तरह का झटका लगा है उससे उसकी बैटिंग पर फर्क पड़ा है। आईपीएल 13 में दिल्ली कैपिटल का प्रदर्शन लाजवाब दिल्ली कैपिटल्स (DC) ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करके अपनी स्थिति और मजबूत कर ली है। सबको महेंद्र सिंह धोनी से काफी उम्मीदें थी लेकिन महेंद्र सिंह धोनी इस बार कोई कारनामा नहीं कर पाए। छठे नंबर पर बैटिंग के लिए उतरे महेंद्र सिंह धोनी का थाला वाला रूप कहीं नजर नहीं आया जिससे वह अपने विरोधियों को चुप करा सकते। धोनी ने अपने समर्थकों को इस बार निराश कर दिया, उनके समर्थक उनका थाला वाला रूप देखने के लिए इंतजार कर रहे थे। इससे पहले भी राजस्थान रॉयल्स के खिलाफ धोनी सातवें नंबर पर आए थे और उन्होंने वहां भी निराश किया था।जब वह बैटिंग करने उतरे तो चेन्नई सुपर किंग को जीत के लिए 78 रन चाहिए थे और 26 गेंदे शेष थी।लेकिन सबको धोनी से उम्मीद थी कि इस बार भी वह मैच फिनिशर की भूमिका निभाएंगे किंतु धोनी 15 रन से ज्यादा नहीं बना पाए और उनकी टीम 44 रन से हार गई।

IPL-13: दिल्ली कैपिटल्स (DC) की ओपनिंग जोड़ी ने धुआंधार प्रदर्शन करते हुए इनिंग्स के 10 ओवर में 94 रन की साझेदारी की।पृथ्वी साव ने 43 गेंदों में शानदार 64 रन बनाए जिसमें नौ चौके और एक छक्का लगाया। दूसरी तरफ शिखर धवन ने 35 रन जोड़े।ओपनिंग जोड़ी के बाद ऋषभ पंत ने भी 37 रनों का योगदान दिया और कप्तान सुरेश अय्यर ने 26 रनों के साथ 58 रन की साझेदारी की।इन चारों की मदद से दिल्ली कैपिटल्स (DC) ने 3 विकेट पर 175 रंनो का पहाड़ खड़ा करा।

IPL-13: पहले ओवर में दूसरी गेंद सीधे विकेटकीपर धोनी के दस्तानों में चली गई थी। किंतु धोनी केच पकड़ नहीं पाए। और दूसरे फील्डर भी इस इनसाइड केच को पकड़ने में असफल रहे। और किसी फिल्डर ने अपील भी नहीं की यही बात हैरान करने वाली थी।पृथ्वी साव ने केच छूटने का भरपूर फायदा उठाया और ऑफ साइड में 2 गेंदों में दो चौके लगा डालें और अपना खाता खोल लिया।पावर प्ले में दिल्ली (DC) की टीम नॉर्मल खेल खेल रही थी, लेकिन पावर प्ले खत्म होते ही पृथ्वी और शिखर धवन ने हमला कर दिया और धुआंधार बैटिंग करने लगे।पीयूष चावला की बॉलिंग पर दोनों ने 13 रन बटोर लिए, उनके बाद बॉलिंग करने आए रविंद्र जडेजा ने भी 13 रन दे दिए।
बाद के ओवर में भी पीयूष चावला ने 11 रन दिए और प्यारे दुलारे रविंद्र जडेजा ने 15 रन बड़ी आसानी से दे दिए।

विराट कोहली पर धीमी ओवर गति के लिए 12 लाख रुपए का जुर्माना।आईपीएल 13 में रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बेंगलोर (RCB) के कप्तान विराट कोहली पर किंग्स इलेवन पंजाब (KXIP) के खिलाफ आईपीएल मैच में ओवर गति धीमी रखने के कारण यह जुर्माना लगाया है। स्थानीय अखबारों के अनुसार गुरुवार को हुए मैच में 97 रन से बैंगलोर की टीम हार गई थी। IPL-13 की ओर से यह कहा गया है कि ओवरगति की आचार संहिता के अनुसार ओवर गति मानकों के अनुकूल नहीं थी। आईपीएल -13 ने कहा की उनका यह पहला उल्लंघन था इसी कारण से 12 लाख का जुर्माना लगाया गया।

On the other side Shikhar Dhawan added 35 runs. Rishabh Pant also contributed 37 runs after the opening pair and captain Suresh Iyer shared a 58-run partnership with 26 runs. With the help of these four, Delhi Capitals made a mountain of 175 runs for 3 wickets. Chennai Super Kings missed the catch.

Virat Kohli fined Rs 12 lakhs for slow over rate.
