30.8.2020,

पानी की व्यवस्था करना और इकट्ठा करना।

• पानी भरकर लाने की प्रतियोगिता,

मैंने और सीता गीता नीता अनीता और भी सारे बच्चों ने अपनी अपनी पानी की कैन उठाई और दौड़ लगाई, क्योंकि आज शास्त्री नगर में पानी नहीं आएगा, वैसे भी शास्त्री नगर के चौराहों पर गिने-चुने पानी के नल लगे हुए थे, उन दिनों नल के पानी की बड़ी किल्लत थी, हालांकि सब के घरों में हैंडपंप लगे हुए थे किंतु नल का पानी बहुत ही अच्छा लगता था,

• सुभद्रा कॉलोनी में पानी के नल ढूंढना,

 हम सबको सुभद्रा कॉलोनी से पानी भरकर लाना था, जोकि काफी दूर थी रास्ते में हमें नहर पार करनी थी, सड़क पार करनी थी, और फिर सुभद्रा कॉलोनी में नलों को ढूंढना था कि किस नल में पानी ज्यादा आता है, मैं एक चौराहे पर पहुंचा वहां नल लगा हुआ था, किंतु जब पास पहुंचा तो उसमें पानी नहीं आ रहा था, हम सारे बच्चे नलों को ढूंढ रहे थे कि किस नल में पानी आ रहा है और किस में नहीं, एक नल में मुझे पानी आता हुआ दिख गया, बस फिर क्या था मैंने फटाफट अपनी केन नल में लगाई, और कैन भरते ही उसे लेकर घर की ओर भागा,

•  घर की ओर दौड़ लगाना,

 इतने में सारे बच्चे भी ढूंढते हुए वहां पहुंच गए और उन्होंने भी जल्दी जल्दी अपनी केन भरी, कैन भरते ही उन्होंने भी दौड़ लगाई, हम सब अपने अपने हाथ में भरी हुई कैन लेकर दौड़ लगा रहे थे कि कोन सबसे पहले पानी लेकर घर पहुंचेगा, इस दौड़ भाग में पानी सड़क पर ही गिरता जा रहा था।

Arranging and collecting water.

•  Fishing competition

 I and Sita Geeta Neeta Anita and all the other children picked up their water cans and ran, because today there will be no water in Shastri city, as there were few water taps at the squares of Shastri Nagar, those days.  There was a huge shortage of water, although all the houses were equipped with hand pumps, but tap water seemed very good,

•  Finding water taps in Subhadra Colony,

 We all had to bring water from Subhadra Colony, which was far enough, on the way we had to cross the canal, cross the road, and then find the taps in Subhadra Colony to see which tap has more water, I reached a crossroads.  There was a tap, but when it reached near, there was no water coming in it, all of us children were looking for the taps in which water is coming in and which is not, in one tap I saw water coming, just  Then what was the instant I put my can in the tap, and as soon as I filled the can, I ran to the house,

•  Run home,

 So many children reached there looking for them and they too filled their cans very quickly, they ran as soon as they filled the can, we were all running with cans filled in our hands that the cones would first come home with water,  In this race, water was falling on the road itself.
