बचपन में सर्दियों की रात में छत पर सोना।

• सर्दियों की रात,

मैं छत पर सोने के लिए रजाई भी ले आया क्योंकि मार्च का आखिरी सप्ताह चल रहा था इसलिए रात को ठंड भी लगती है, मुझे देख कर सारे बच्चे जो कि वही रहते थे, वह भी अपनी अपनी रजाई छत पर लेकर आ गए हम सब ने मिलकर पहले अंताक्षरी का खेल खेला, खेलते खेलते रात काफी बीत चुकी थी इसलिए ठंड भी लगने लगी थी हम सब अपनी अपनी चारपाई में रजाई ओढ़ कर सो गए,

• मेरे हाथ में पत्थर,

 मैं जाग रहा था की कोई सो गया होगा तो उसकी रजाई उठाकर नीचे फेंक दूंगा, किंतु मुझे कब नींद आ गई पता ही नहीं चला, जब मेरी रात को आंख खुली तो मुझे महसूस हुआ कि मेरे हाथ में कोई भारी चीज रखी हुई है, मैंने हाथ हिलाने की कोशिश की तो वह नहीं हिला ,नींद में मुझे पता ही नहीं था कि मेरा हाथ चारपाई से बाहर लटक रहा था, जब मुझे नींद आ गई तो सीता गीता, और लल्ली ने मेरे हाथ पर ईंट रख दी थी, इसी कारण से मैं हाथ नहीं मिला पा रहा था, मुझे देख कर वह सब हंस रहे थे और कह रहे थे कि हमने भी तुम्हें बेवकूफ बना दिया, तुम हम सबको बेवकूफ बनाते हो और यह कह कर वह हंसने लगे।

 I also brought a quilt to sleep on the roof because the last week of March was going on, so the night also gets cold, seeing all the children who lived there, they brought their own quilts to the roof.  First of all, played Antakshari game, the night had passed a lot while playing, so the cold had started, we all slept with a quilt in our bed.

 I was awake that someone must have fallen asleep, will pick up his quilt and throw it down, but I did not know when I fell asleep, when I opened my eyes at night, I felt that there was something heavy in my hand, I  He did not move when he tried to move his hand, in my sleep I did not know that my hand was hanging out of the bed, when I fell asleep Sita Geeta, and Lalli had placed a brick on my hand, for that reason  I was unable to join hands, after looking at me, they were all laughing and saying that we have also fooled you, you make fool of us all and they started laughing by saying this.
